There's a point where first cutlery starts to look comical in a child's hand — the handle too short to grip properly, the spoon delivering about a third of what they were hoping for. This set is sized for that point.

Longer handles give the leverage to spear something rather than chase it around the plate, and the bowl of the spoon holds a toddler-sized mouthful, so a bowl of pasta doesn't take twenty minutes.

Samples from our tableware range have undergone independent laboratory testing for phthalates, total lead and cadmium, and against selected children's product safety requirements including sharp points, sharp edges and small parts.

Testing relates to representative samples submitted by our supplier. Individual products, components and colours have not been separately tested.
